Manufactured between 1910 and 1919 per page 116 of Nigel Brown's "British Gunmakers Volume One: London". Hooded ramped blade front sight, front sling mount, and two position (one standing, one folding) rear sight on the blued barrel which is marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND, 98 NEW BOND STREET. LONDON". The barrel is removable via a captured screw making for a convenient travel package. The Mauser 98 style action is blued and features a matted front bridge and Griffin & Howe scope mount holding a Lyman All-Weather Alaskan 2 1/2x scope. The bottom metal is unadorned, and the triggerguard is simply marked with the hand cut serial number. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered two-piece stock with horn forend tip, casehardened trapdoor grip cap, "R.S.T." in the silver inscription oval, raised cheekpiece, rear sling mount, and orange rubber recoil pad. Includes a leather sling, muzzle cap, uninstalled recoil lug, and an extra safety switch.
