Description:

Maas & Steffen Co. "A "BEAR" CHANCE calendar. The artwork by A. Russell on the upper portion depicts a hunter and his dogs as they attempt to snatch a polar bear cub away from it's mother. The hunter is armed with a rifle which will likely be used to stave off the rage of the beast. A December, 1946 calendar is attached to the bottom of the poster. Mounted in a wooden frame. Frame measures 18 inches x 30 1/2 inches. Provenance: The George F. Gamble Collection

Rating Definition:

Very good with storage and handling marks, some creasing, and a small tear on the left side. Colors remain vibrant.
