Description:

Framed print titled "Lame Deer Valley and Agency from the West Divide". The print measures about 7 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches with the frame measuring 14 x 12 inches. The information on the back of the frame from Coffrin's Old West Gallery states, this print is by L. A. Huffman from a dry plate photographed circa 1900 at the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. Laton Alton Huffman (1854-1931) is famous for his photography of Montana life, including Native Americans, the landscape, wildlife, and ranching.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with sharp image. The frame shows a few dings and scratches at the edges and minor staining on the otherwise bright matting.
