Manufactured 1910-1917 with the two-line address, patent date, and caliber marking on top of the barrel extension. It is fitted with a blade front sight and notch rear sight, as well as a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with Savage logos. The included factory letter states that the pistol was manufactured in 1920 and shipped on 28 February 1920 to Albert Steinfield Co., a distributor located in Tuscon and New York. Provenance: The Bailey Brower, Jr. Collection, author of “Savage Pistols”
Excellent, retains 98% plus of the original blue finish and 98% vibrant case colors on the trigger with some scattered very light spotting on the grip straps. The grips are very fine with a hair line crack in the left panel, and otherwise only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
