The included factory letter confirms the current configuration when the revolver was shipped on December 29, 1914 to Remington in New York, New York, who were the purchasing agents for the British government. Canadian "cross pennants" ahead of cylinder on frame, British proofs on the rear of frame, left grip panel numbered to another gun, and matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, and barrel.
Excellent overall, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with mild handling evidence, areas of minor spotting, some edge wear on the very fine grips, and sharp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
