This revolver is pictured on page 181 of Don Wilkerson's "Colt Single-Action Revolver: Handbook 1955-1975" including the note that it was shipped on December 28, 1962 and that it was one of only 72 Second Generation New Frontier Buntline revolvers making this a very scarce configuration indeed. Standard markings and features. Matching serial numbers are found on the frame, triggerguard, and with partial serial number "370" on each grip panel and the front cylinder face. Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and casehardened finishes with limited handling evidence and very faint cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent.
