This is a beautifully enameled example of a Caucasian style qama dagger, also commonly referred to as "Cossack" daggers, due to the famous horsemen regularly carrying them. It measures 20 7/8 inches overall and a 15 1/8 inch spearpoint blade with a single fuller on one side and a double on the other, both centered. The hilt is extensively engraved with floral patterns throughout, multicolor enamel filled throughout, and mounted with pink glass gem stones. The extensive floral engraving continues on the included scabbard, covering almost the entire surface, and featuring the same multicolored enamel finish and an additional pink gem stone centered on the outer surface. Excellent overall, the blade showing a bright polished appearance with a few scattered spots of light surface oxidation and retaining almost all of the vibrant enamel finish with generally only light wear.
