This grouping includes two similar looking Caucasian style qama daggers, also commonly referred to as "Cossack" daggers, due to the famous horsemen regularly carrying them. Both of these examples have extensive engraving and silver inlays on both the hilts and scabbards, mostly featuring floral motifs. One has an engraved blade that features floral designs and what appears to be a Russian imperial eagle. One measures 18 1/4 inches overall and the other measures 18 1/2 inches overall. Both are very fine, with the blades mostly bright and the silver showing an attractively aged patina overall and mostly mild wear.
