This small musket measures under 33 inches but is a functional musket. The smoothbore barrel has a Liege proof on top at the breech. The barrel band has a blade front sight. The small lock has a brass pan and is functional and aligns with the vent on the barrel. The furniture is iron. The stock has the distinctive inset cheekpiece. The wrist escutcheon has the letter "M," and "171" is in white on the left side of the wrist. Includes a small socket bayonet. Fine with mostly gray patina, some light pitting, and generally only minor overall wear. The stock is also fine and has some minor flakes at the edges, a few tiny cracks, and minor overall scratches and dings. Mechanically fine.
