Manufactured 1916-1918. Blade front and 500-meter tangent rear sights, with the three-line address on the top chamber flat, "crown/gothic letter" military proof on the right chamber flat, "crown/crown/U" on the chamber and bolt, "Imperial eagle" on the front of the magazine well on the frame, and the two-line address on the right side of the frame. External numbers are matching overall with a New Safety hammer, slotted back strap, and matching numbered 24-groove grips with a branded and red-filled "9" on each panel. Included with the pistol is a shoulder stock with matching number stamped on the iron, a leather harness stamped "1917" and "BAXII 17", and a wood handled cleaning rod. Excellent, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, 80% of the original niter blue, showing areas of brown and gray patina, bright edge wear, and mild handling marks overall. The grips are very fine, with a few light nicks and scratches in the ribbing. A small crack is visible in the otherwise fine stock near the lid catch button, with some light cleaning on the wood and a mixed brown and gray patina on the iron. Mild scuffs and stains are present on the otherwise very fine harness, with some cracking on the retention strap. Mechanically excellent.
