This 18th century Italian smoothbore long gun is marked "L FRANZINI" on the barrel and "TOM CATARO" on the lock. The smoothbore barrel has some engraving on the breech section. The lock has some scroll engraving. The stock features extensive iron overlays with some in elaborate interlaced scroll patterns and some floral and mask motifs.

Good with mostly distinct designs, gray patina, some mild pitting, damaged muzzle, and moderate overall wear including some chips and absent overall sections. Full-cock need some work, but otherwise mechanically functions fine.
