Originally manufactured in the 1910s, this Erfurt pistol has been refurbished and stamped "Kl/1933" on top of the chamber. Theories on the "Kl" stamp vary; some attribute it as marking for a guard weapon at a concentration camp (Konzentrationslager in German), others as a work mark from the Heer depot at Kassel. Fixed sights, with the Erfurt marking on the front toggle link, with the Imperial eagle stamp on the barrel, receiver and breechblock, "eagle/6" stamps on the barrel and opposite side of the breechblock, and a "crown/RC" revision stamp on the receiver. Overall numbers are matching, including the grips, with the barrel and magazine unnumbered and some components renumbered to match, likely as part of the rework process. Checkered wood grips and a wood based nickel finished magazine. Included with the lot is an unmarked police style black leather holster with a takedown tool and a pin punch.

Fine, with 75% of the arsenal refurbished blue finish, showing a brown patina on the gripstraps and sides of the frame, bright edge wear, mild spotting and handling marks. The grips are very good, with some flat spots on the recut checkering. Some tearing and stitching loss is visible on the flap and retention strap, otherwise the holster is good. Mechanically excellent.
