Blade front and tangent rear sights, with the "1917" date on the chamber, "DWM" on the front toggle link, and appropriate military proofs on the barrel, receiver, and breechblock. The magazine is unnumbered with "GERMANY" stamped on the base, otherwise numbers are matching overall, including on the rear sight components and the grips. Included with the lot is a brown leather flap holster, takedown tool, and wood-handled cleaning rod. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection
Fine, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, minor dings on the frame rails, scattered spotting and mild handling marks overall. The takedown lever is a numbered to match refinished replacement. The balance of the straw parts remain 40% intact. The grips are very fine with a few scattered light dings. The modified holster is fair with some absent or replaced stitching, an area cut out of the body near the heel of the pistol, parts absent from the rod flap, and many cracks and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
