The upper left side of the receiver is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". The upper left front is marked with a "P", "R.L.B." followed by the ordnance bomb. The "P" proof is also marked on the left rear of the barrel at the breech. The upper left rear of the barrel is marked with the address, patent number and "MODEL -37" over "12 GA,-2 3/4 CHAMBER". It has a single bead front sight. The replacement (possibly factory installed) barrel gauges at full choke and is closely numbered "50029". It has a checkered pump handle and checkered pistol grip stock with a black plastic grip cap and replacement serrated plastic buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 85% arsenal refurbished parkerized finish with scattered light freckling/pitting and brown patina, lines of white paint on the barrel, some corrosion on the trigger, and sharp markings and edges in the metal. Wood is also fine, with the buttstock lightly sanded and re-oiled, with scattered light scratches and nicks, some wear to the checkering on the left of the wrist, a crack and chipped area at the toe of both the buttstock and buttplate. Mechanically fine.
