Description:

During World War II the U.S. Treasury Department commissioned some of the most vivid and colorful posters of the war for the country's War Bond drives that brought in more than $49 million dollars from the public. This is an early wartime example sponsored by Shell Oil Co. and it showcases an illustration of a Douglas TBD Devastator along with the iconic battle cry "Keep 'Em Fighting." Measures approximately 33 1/2 x 56 inches. Provenance: The Putnam Green/Sycamore Collection

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall, showing some typical wear along the folds and edges. The colors are vivid. A great piece of authentic homefront memorabilia that will fit in any World War II collection.
