This rifle is accompanied by a DCM shipping box and two Requisition and Invoice/Shipping Documents from the DCM, indicating this rifle was shipped from the Letterkenny Ordnance Depot to an individual in Seattle, Washington on April 30th, 1963. The receiver is roll marked "U.S./REMINGTON/MODEL 03-A3/3752162". The barrel is stamped "RA/Ordnance Shell & Flame/4-43" behind the rear sight. The left of the stock directly behind the safety cut-out is stamped "OGEK" (without a box), the inspection mark of Ed Klouser at the Ogden, Utah Arsenal. The rifle has a two-groove barrel and is mounted with a full one piece walnut stock and checkered steel buttplate with compartment. Includes a "1943" dated M1907 leather sling, and "ordnance bomb/U.S." and "R" marked Remington front sight cover.
Very fine, retains 95% original parkerized finish on the receiver with some wear on the barrel and on the top edge of the receiver from normal cycling, 60% blue finish with some thinning to a smooth mottled brown patina on the trigger guard, and some light thinning and edge wear on the barrel bands. Stock is very fine with a few minor scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent. Included box is fine.
