The included factory letter states that the pistol was shipped on 31 December 1909 to E.K. Tryon Co., a distributor located in Philadelphia. Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 80% plus of the original blue finish and case colors on the trigger with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, primarily on the grip straps and edges at the muzzle. The grips are excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
