Manufactured on 14 February 1933 with the standard two-line address and patent dates on top of the barrel. The left side of the barrel has the model marking and desirable caliber marking "RUSSIAN AND/S&W SPECIAL" and "44". The Rampant Colt is marked on the left of the frame. It is fitted with blade front and frame notch rear sights, and checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration (grips not listed) as well as shipment to Powell and Clement in Cincinnati, Ohio on 16 February 1933 in a single gun shipment. Includes the original box with extra end label marked "S. & W. CARTRIDGE."

Excellent, retains 98% plus of the original blue finish with a few scattered light handling marks and a light cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some moderate wear concentrated on corners and some minor tears.
