Manufactured in 1894 with the three-line address and patent date marking ending with "NOV.6.1888." on top of the barrel and the caliber marking on the left. A circled Rampant Colt is on the left of the frame, the yoke and cylinder latch have the assembly number "429", and the serial number is on the butt. Fitted with tall blade and frame notch sights and a pair of the hard rubber grips with "COLT" at the tops. Includes a New Army labeled Colt maroon box.
Excellent, retains 90% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish, the cylinder and cylinder latch showing a slight plum hue, some light edge/muzzle wear that is slightly heavy on the lower left frame edge due to contact with the yoke. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some moderate wear and staining.
