Manufactured to the same specifications of the famous rifle used by Tom Selleck in the 1990 classic "Quigley Down Under". The rifle features a heavy octagon barrel with Hartford collar fitted with with a globe front sight, 800 yard semi-buckhorn ladder rear sight, and a Vernier tang peep sight. The top of the barrel is marked "Shiloh-Sharps Model 1874" ahead of the rear sight, and "Calibre 45/2 7/8" behind. The left side of the receiver bears the Shiloh Rifles address while the right is inlaid with a gold oval containing the initials "J/D/M". Mounted in a walnut forend with pewter tip and straight grip stock with military style buttplate and patchbox. Includes a glass top display case and Montana Silversmiths "Shiloh Sharps" belt buckle.
Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks. The elevator screw on the peep sight is broken at the joint with the elevation knob. Wood is very fine with a few scattered dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with limited storage and handling marks.
