Manufactured in 1918. Fixed sights, with the three-line, two-block patent and address markings flanking the circled "REMINGTON/UMC" logo on the left side and "MODEL OF 1911/U.S. ARMY CALIBER .45" on the right. "E.E.C." inspected frame, with "E" and "29" on the trigger guard. Checkered grips with diamond patterns around the screws, "P" barrel, long smooth trigger, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, and flat mainspring housing with lanyard staple. Includes an unmarked two-tone magazine.
Very fine as professionally restored showing most of the dark blue with light handling marks and edge wear overall. The grips are good with a crack in the bottom of the left panel and mild dents and verdigris. Mechanically excellent.
