The included factory letter lists this revolver as having rosewood target stocks, red ramp front and white outline rear sights, and Class A engraving when shipped to H.H. Harris & Company in Chicago, Illinois, on April 3, 1956. The frame is signed "H.B. Jarvis" on the left side below the cylinder. This revolver is also equipped with a rarely seen factory "W" mainspring. Includes a transitional mahogany case with end label listing the sight, Class "A" engraving by Jarvis, and shipment to H.H. Harris and company containing a cleaning rod, bore brushes, and screwdriver.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and a faint cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with a few light storage, some wear to the lining, and handling marks and a hairline crack on the bottom. A very rare factory engraved and signed Pre-Model 25.
