The included factory letter lists this revolver as having a 5 inch barrel, blue finish and checkered walnut magna grips when shipped to Boswick Braun Co. in Toledo, Ohio on April 1, 1955. Right grip panel numbered to a different gun. Matching numbers on butt, cylinder, and ejector shroud. Includes an unnumbered .44 Hand Ejector Model of 1926 Military Revolver S&W gold box.

Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Nearly all original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine with edge wear mostly on the perimeter.
