Manufactured in 1894. German silver blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights on the barrel with the two-line Colt Hartford legend. The left side of the receiver is stamped with a Rampant Colt. It is mounted with a checkered slide handle. The period non-factory replacement checkered buttstock is fitted with a black serrated shotgun buttplate.

Fine. The barrel and magazine tube retain 80% original blue finish faded to a plum tone. There are a couple patches of pitting on the magazine. The frame retains 70% original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance, smooth gray patina on the tangs, and some pitting on the right side. The period replacement wood is also fine with some minor dings and scratches, crazed finish, and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
