Manufactured in 1921. The rifle is fitted with a modern blade front sight and a Lyman receiver sight, and a filler block resides in the rear sight dovetail. The rifle features standard Winchester markings, including the Winchester factory proof on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Sling eyelets are mounted on the underside of the barrel and stock. The right side of the upper tang is stamped "1032." The checkered forearm and straight grip stock are highly figured select grade walnut. The Schnabel tipped forend has an ebony insert. The buttstock is fitted with a black recoil pad and has an inlaid inscription inlay featuring actor Tom Selleck's initials. In his accompanying letter Tom Selleck confirmed the rifle was professionally restored by Doug Turnbull: "Doug [Turnbull] has restored many rifles that I have hunted with, which was my plan for this 1895, and he did his usual expert restoration on it. It turns out it was just too nice to beat up." Provenance: The Tom Selleck Collection
