Manufactured in 1869-1898 with this example featuring full silver plating and scarce Wexler & DeGress grips. The barrel rib has the standard one-line S&W legend. The grips feature floral scrollwork as well as a relief portrait on the right panel and patent marking on the left panel. Matching assembly marks on the grip frame, cylinder, and barrel. Includes a period pipe case with white silk and purple velvet lining.

Exceptionally fine, retaining 97% period retailer applied silver plating taking on an attractive dark aged appearance. The grip are also excellent. Mechanically excellent. The pipe case is fine with minor wear overall. A highly attractive full silver plated S&W Model No. 1 3rd Issue revolver wearing scarce Wexler & DeGress grips.
