Fixed sights, with “1936” on the chamber, “S/42” on the front toggle link, “eagle/63” and “eagle” proofs on the appropriate parts, and matching numbers on many components, including on the alloy magazine base; grips are unnumbered. Small parts are straw finished, with niter blue pins and springs, and checkered walnut grips. With a black leather flap holster and takedown tool; the holster lacks visible maker's marks, but has a Luftwaffe style “eagle/2” inside the body and a matching serial number on the body under the flap.

Excellent, with 90% plus original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, minor spotting concentrated on the gripstraps, and light handling marks overall. 75% of the original straw color is present on the small parts, with vivid niter blue on the sear spring and toggle pins. The grips are also excellent, with some minor dings, and the holster is fine with mild scuffing and scratching. The magazine hangs up a bit on the catch, otherwise mechanically excellent.
