Originally manufactured in 1986 in Germany and imported by HK of Chantilly as a HK94 carbine, then converted to a MP5 style submachine gun by Fleming Firearms, which involved shortening the overall length and installing a shelf-compatible three position trigger pack. In terms of the timing, this item would fall among the last fully transferable machine guns manufactured in the United States prior to the Hughes Amendment going into effect. Hooded post front and four position drum rear sights, with the top of the receiver marked "MP5 HK", "9031" and "IG(antler)", with faint traces of the "94" behind "HK", and the right side under the trigger housing bearing the Fleming markings. The muzzle is fitted with the traditional HK MP5 three-lug accessory mounting points, and the bolt and bolt carrier are dated "IF" (1985), with the latter built up via welding to provide a proper contact point for the auto sear. A functioning paddle lever is fitted on the mag catch, with a horizontal forearm, textured pistol grip with "S/E/F" selector markings, and a two-position telescoping buttstock. Included with the lot is a clamp-on picatinny rail for the receiver, a Samson STAR-MP5 triple rail forearm, Streamlight TLR-1 tactical light and a Fortis metal foregrip.

Excellent as upgraded to full auto, with 98% plus matte black finish, showing mild wear concentrated at the mounting points on the receiver and along the high edges. The furniture is in equal condition. Tactical light is in working order. Mechanically excellent.
