Blued Excelsior steel barrels with single bead sight on the matted vent rib, standard Beretta markings and 1991 dated Italian proofs, interchangeable chokes (skeet/improved cylinder installed), and chambers marked 3 inches with automatic ejectors. The coin finished sideplated action displays extensive floral scroll engraving surrounding a trio of pheasants in an upland scene on the left side and a pair of woodcocks on the right. The trigger plate is signed "Bottega C. Giovanelli" for the famous engraving firm. The gun features a single gold trigger and a tang mounted safety/selector switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with blank inscription oval and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved 15.8 mm (.622 inches) and measured at .625 inches; minimum wall thickness .033/.034 inches; 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 14 9/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs.
