Manufactured in 1952. Blued steel barrels with single bead sight on the matted vent rib, chokes marked "**"/"*" (modified/full), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin gray finished action displays the standard Grade II full coverage floral scroll engraving surrounding scenes of pigeons in flight on the left and right as well as relief carved oak leaf and acorn designs carved at the fences. The gun is signed on both sides at the low rear "FFUNKEN" for factory Master Engraver Felix Funken. The gun features a single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold inlaid "O", "U", and "S". Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes a Browning Naugahyde takedown case. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 9/16 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 3/8 inches; weight 7 lbs. 13 oz.

Very fine, retaining 98% plus original blue finish, 90% plus original coin finish, light handling evidence, and some oxidation on the coin finish in areas. The wood is very good with numerous small dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. The case is very fine. Mechanically excellent.
