Manufactured c. 1997-1998, this is a fantastic modern reproduction of the classic Model 63 rifle that was produced under license by Miroku of Japan. This example was subsequently beautifully engraved in the Winchester factory Style No. 8 by master engraver Angelo Bee. The right side of the grooved receiver features a scene of three hares in a field and the left side has two squirrels on a tree branch. These scenes are surrounded by floral scroll and border patterns, with flourishes of floral scroll on the barrel at the muzzle and the breech. It is fitted with blade and elevation adjustable notch sights. It is mounted with a very finely figured, H-pattern checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber grip cap and smooth steel buttplate.

Excellent, retains 99% plus of the original blue finish with only the slightest handling marks and crisp engraving. The wood is also excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
