Raised bead blade front and fixed notch rear sights, double claw scope bases between the breech and rear sight with Kahless Helia 4 S2 scope, 1958 dated Austrian proofs on the underside of the barrels, and small "WOODCOCK HILL BENTON PA" marking under the forearm. Bolstered and scalloped coin gray box lock action with bushed firing pin for the lower centerfire barrel, double Kersten crossbolts, double adjustable set triggers, and manual sliding safety with gold inlaid "SAFE" and "FIRE" markings. The action is fully engraved with fine fancy scroll surrounding detailed game scenes depicting St. Hubertus (patron Saint of hunters) and the stag on the right, and a pair of roe deer on the left. The cross above the stag is gold inlaid. The engraving is signed "F. Just" on the left side. Checkered three-piece forearm and pistol grip stock with engraved fittings, blue steel grip cap, raised cheek piece, brass inscription shield engraved with three boar heads over a displayed eagle, and rubber recoil pad.
Very fine with 95% plus original blue finish on the barrels some traces of light edge wear, and scattered small surface scratches. The action has crisp, well detailed engraving, and some light scratches on the trigger guard. The refinished wood is also very fine with attractive grain, some small filled spots below the cheek piece, some small scattered dings, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is very good with visible edge wear, and clear optics.
