Manufactured in 1983, the Colt Python Silver Snake was the first stainless steel firearm manufactured by Colt in a very limited 250 unit run from the Custom Shop. Featuring an adjustable white outlined rear sight, and red ramp front. The right side of the barrel is etched with a floral pattern bordering an unfurled banner with the dates "1836" and "1982" with Samuel Colt's signature in the middle of the banner. Also depicted is the Colt factory dome, and the Colt Custom Shop logo. The left side of the barrel is similarly embellished, with the same floral pattern, dome and custom shop logo bordering an unfurled banner reading "SILVER SNAKE .357 MAGNUM". The left side of the frame features an etched coiled python. Fitted with Pachmayr Presentation grips with inset Colt Custom Shop Medallions. Includes a Colt soft case and Bianchi leather holster.

Very fine with a few light handling marks, some light spotting on the sights, some areas of discoloration, and a cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. Holster is excellent. This very limited run represents a milestone of Colt using stainless steel in their Custom Shop. This is your chance to own a piece of that history!
