Manufactured in 1981. The pistol features gold inlaid floral scroll and leafy designs flanking the seal of the state of Mississippi on the left and a similar motif with a central plaque with the Colt markings on the right. The frame is marked "97 OF 200". Fitted with a set of floral scroll engraved gilt metal grips with the state of Mississippi on the left marked "VIRTUE/ET/ARMS" and an American Eagle on the right. Includes a hardwood State of Mississippi Edition display case.

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.
