This is an attractive Model 3A variant of Colt's "New Model Pocket Revolving Pistol" and falls within the noted 1-1350 serial number range for this variation. It is readily identifiable based on the 3 1/2 inch octagon barrel and full fluted cylinder in .31 caliber. The barrel has a brass cone front sight and is marked with the two-line, two-block address and patent marking with crosses. The rear sight is a groove and notch in the top strap. The cylinder has the patent marking in one of the flutes. Matching serial numbers are visible on the bottom of the barrel and the butt. It comes in a fitted hardwood case with a cap tin, a blued Colt patent ball and bullet mold, and a floral pattern pocket powder flask.

Fine with 50% original blue finish, fading mainly on the cylinder, 20% original case colors, smooth brown patina on the balance, mild marks and scratches, and generally minor overall wear including some light oxidation. The grip is fine and has mild edge wear, dents on both sides of the grip, and light scratches and dings. Mechanically needs work (not holding full-cock). The case and accessories are very good with moderate wear.
