The cylinder is roll-engraved with the Texas Navy battle scene, "COLTS PATENT No. 34656" marking and London "Crown/V" and "Crown/GP" proof and inspection marks are stamped on the left side of the barrel lug and on the cylinder between each nipple recess. Brass post front sight and hammer notch rear sight, and fitted with a varnished one-piece walnut grip.

Rating Definition:

Very good with 20% original blue finish visible around the wedge and strongest on the protected area on the bottom of the barrel, traces of case colors visible, and smooth brown patina on the balance with a few scattered patches of light pitting, clear markings overall and mostly visible cylinder scene. Grip is fine with scattered scratches and dings, some crazing along the bottom edges, and a filled in section on the bottom right. Mechanically excellent.
