Description:

Manufactured in 1863. Standard markings and features, including matching serial numbers. The grip appears to be numbered "4796." It comes in a fitted hardwood case with a cap tin, ball/bullet mold, eagle and crossed revolvers pattern pocket flask, L-shaped combination tool, and cartridge pack.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 70% of the original case colors, 30% original blue on the cylinder, traces of original blue on the barrel, 20% original silver plating, dark aged patina on the silver and brass, and mottled brown patina on the balance of the iron. The grip is also fine and has mild edge wear, strong original varnish, and minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. The case and accessories are fine with generally mild age and storage related wear such as faded finish on the accessories and minor dings and scratches.
