The brass barrel has "crown/P" and "crown/V" proof and view marks on the left at the breech, "DUBLIN" on top, and an "Q 2950" Irish registration mark from Queen's County. The bore flares out to around 1 3/4 inches at the muzzle and is around 9 bore. The large, lightly rounded lock is dated "1779" at the tail and has "TRULOCK" signed at center. The brass furniture has floral and shell engraving, and the trigger guard has an acorn finial. A ramrod with a horn tip is included.

Fine with attractive aged patina on the brass, mottled gray patina and some minor pitting on the lock, and general mild overall wear. The stock has mild scratches and dings, spliced repairs in the forend, and attractive figure. Mechanically fine.
