The smoothbore Damascus barrels have a textured rib with a small bead front sight, a small marking that appears to be "28" on the right barrel at the breech, and silver bands at the breech. The back action locks are signed "K. STEINER" (right) and "KARLSTAHL" (left) in gold inlay. There is extensive Germanic leafy scroll and game scene engraving throughout with gold accents. The game scenes include variety of European game animals, including deer, fox, boars, ibex, and chamois. The shotgun has two triggers. The right trigger is a single set trigger. The lever and grip extension are horn. The buttstock has relief scroll and floral carving and checkering on the wrist, nice figure on the butt, and a rounded cheekpiece.

Very good with distinct Damascus twist patterns on the barrels, aged patina on the silver bands, bright gold inlays, mostly smooth gray and brown patina throughout, distinct engraving, and minor oxidation. The stock is also very good and has distinct carving and checkering with some smoothing, moderate scrapes and dings on the butt, a splice/spacer at the butt, and attractive figure. Mechanically fine.
