Description:

This bronze depicts a horseman holding on for life and limb to the reigns of his horse as it becomes more and more evident that he is in for the ride, or drag in this case, of a lifetime. The bucking bronco is shown in the middle of a fit of hysteria, mid buck. The cowboy is clearly trying to stammer back to his feet to try and get back on the beast before it's too late. The piece is signed "F. Remington" on the ground beneath the man's leg. The bronze rests on a marble base. Measures 19x18x12 inches.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with some storage and handling marks.
