Description:

This bronze by Fredric Remington depicts an iconic western scene. We see a cowboy mounted on a bucking bronco in an effort to tame the wild beast. The taming of horses was an essential part of life on the frontier and stands as a metaphor for the spread of the United States from one coast to the other. The bronze measures 15x24x33 inches. Included is a wooden display table for the bronze measuring 22x34x42 inches and a certificate of authenticity from the Galerie Michelangelo.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with some storage and handling marks as well as an attractive patina. The table is very fine with some minor dings and scratches in the top.
