Most magnificent, forest themed, huge, and rare a pair of Stag head vases. These bronzes are signed "P.J. Mene" (Fr. 1810-1871) at the bottom and each one has two trophy stag heads along with antlers circling the vase. These great hallway forest vases have a bulbous shape with a diamond pattern circling the bottom of the rim. Each vase measures 30x30x48 inches and weighs 100 lbs. These vases are the largest pair the artist made and are quite rare as they are a pair.

Very good with some storage and handling marks as well as an attractive patina.
