This unique Belgian revolver features a 4 1/2 inch side folding bayonet, and floral scroll and border engraving on the frame, cylinder, top strap, trigger guard and grip straps. "CHAUBERT/17CD" and a small fleur-de-lis above an "x" marked on the blade with matching number "17" marked on the folding rib underneath the barrel. "E/LG" Liege proof on the cylinder, "Crown/x" proof on the cylinder and right of the barrel lug. "HT" stamped on the underside of the left grip panel.

Fine, with bright surfaces overall, some scattered patches of very light pitting, and crisp engraving. Grips are also fine with some light handling marks and defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.
