Manufactured in 1940 as one of only 500 believed to have been manufactured in .357 Magnum. Featuring elevation adjustable blade front and adjustable King patent marked rear sights. The left of the barrel is marked "COLT SHOOTING MASTER .357" and the top with the two-line Colt marking. The frame features the Rampant Colt on the left side and the grip straps are checkered. Fitted with a King Cockeye Hammer and a pair of checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions.

Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with some wear at the muzzle, cylinder front face flash marks. The grips are very fine with a small chip at the left panel toe and crisp checkering.
