Manufactured in 1939 and Colt-King subsequently upgraded to the current configuration. The barrel is fitted with a Colt-King Super Target marked vent rib with red insert target sight with reflector inlaid into the rib, fully adjustable rear sight, King Cockeyed Hammer (marked), and walnut checkered grips with Colt medallions.

Very fine as Colt-King upgraded, retaining 85% plus original blue finish with handling marks, scattered spots of surface oxidation, some pitting concentrated on the cylinder, and crisp grip checkering.
