Manufactured in 1932 with a high half moon blade front, and frame notch rear sights. Top of barrel is marked with the two line address and patent dates. Left side of barrel is marked with caliber and model designation. Front left trigger guard bow is marked with the standard "VP" proof with a single "3" on the rear of the trigger guard. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with inset silver Colt medallions. Includes original Colt box hand numbered to the gun, "Special Instructions" pamphlet, and caliber hang tag.

Excellent in original box with 99% plus original Colt blue finish and only minimal handling marks. Grips are also excellent with crisp checkering, minimal handling marks and a small amount of verdigris at the screw bolster. Box is very fine with clear external labels. Mechanically excellent.
