Manufactured by H. A. Lindner to be sold by Charles Daly. Blued steel barrels with dual bead sights on the matted solid rib which is marked "CHARLES DALY KRUPP FLUID STEEL BARRELS", three bands of engraving at either breech, 3 1/2 inch chambers with ejectors, and early 20th century German proofs on the flats. The gun is marked with H. A. Lindner's trademarked "HAL" over crossed pistols on either barrel ahead of the flats. The massive casehardened sideclipped boxlock action displays attractive scroll engraving on all sides with "CHARLES DALY" signed on both sides. The gun features double triggers, cocking indicators, and a tang mounted automatic safety switch with gold inlaid "SAFE". Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with horn tip insert and engraved fittings including the Deeley latch release, and round knob pistol grip stock with checkered teardrop carved flats, blank inscription oval, and a red rubber recoil pad. Very fine, retaining 97% professionally reapplied blue finish on the barrels with very tiny spotting throughout, flashes of case colors in the protected areas with the balance a silver patina, and overall mild handling evidence. There are a few minor cracks in the stock head, otherwise the wood is very good with a few dings and scratches, hardened recoil pad, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
