Built off of an 1948 manufactured Winchester Model 70 action, this rifle features a hand cut caliber marking on the barrel, original Winchester markings on the action which is mounted with a Leupold VX-3 1.75-6x33mm scope. Beautifully figured multi-point checkered stock with contrasting forend tip, blued steel grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, and checkered blue steel buttplate. According to the consignor, the stock work was carried out by the late Clyde James.

Very fine as custom upgraded, retaining 99% blue finish with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock. Scope optics are sharp. Mechanically excellent.
