This revolver has beautifully executed floral scroll engraving at the muzzle, the rear half of the barrel, the cylinder, the frame, the trigger guard bow and the top of the back strap. There is a gold band inlaid at the muzzle. With a Colt Custom Shop walnut case lined in wine colored velvet. In the previous two lots there are two other factory engraved second generation Colt percussion revolvers, a Walker and Pocket Navy, with matching serial number 003. All three revolvers were likely ordered by Colt Industries Group Vice President Guy C. Shafer.

Near new with a few light handling/storage marks and a very faint drag line on the cylinder. The case is excellent with a few scattered minor scratches and dings.
