This P. 38 has been chambered for the .45 ACP which required the larger barrel, frame, and larger custom magazine. These pistols were all hand made by John Martz. Fitted with blade front and notch rear sights, the left side of the slide is marked "P38 MARTZ 45 No 26", with circled "JVM" and "26" on the right side of the frame. With a bright steel magazine, marked "1/JVM".

Very good as professionally upgraded to current configuration by John Martz, with 95% plus bright/straw finish, showing areas of dark spots and light handling wear overall. Mechanically fine.
